Over the past four and a half decades, the Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance has built an unsurpassed reputation as an exhibit of the most well-preserved and restored wooden boats on Earth. The 2021 virtual show is taking this display of classic and antique boats from the shores of Lake Tahoe into homes around the world.
The 2021 Virtual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance will feature four categories – wood boats pre-war, wood boats post-war to 1965, wood boats post-1965, and classic non-wood boats. Boat lovers from around the world will vote for their favorites, and two trophies will be awarded for Best in Show – Best of Show Wood and Best of Show Non-Wood.
Last year’s virtual show was historic. More than 50 boats registered to be part of the showcase, thousands of people cast their vote for their favorite boats, and the TYC Foundation was able to realize its mission of aiding maritime non-profit organizations.
