Virtual Excellence Begins Today

Immerse yourself in elegance in the comfort of your own home! Presented by the Tahoe Yacht Club Foundation and Tahoe Luxury Properties, the 2020 Virtual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance is an exhibition of the most well-preserved and restored boats in the world. This online showcase features high definition photographs, the roar of engines, virtual boat rides, and the stories behind each watercraft. In a special celebration, the Virtual Concours honors the Thunderbird’s 80th year with an exhibition featuring never-before-seen footage from the yacht’s past and present.

Cast a vote for your favorite! All of the boats on display are vying for the highly-coveted Concours People’s Choice Award. The winner will be honored with the People’s Choice Concours Crystal Trophy, complimentary boat registration into the 2021 Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance, and the sole bragging rights as the favorite boat of the people as decided by voters from all around the globe. Voting begins August 22nd and ends September 6th. The winner is announced on Labor Day, September 7th.

Every exhibitor in the Virtual Concours is helping TYCF realize its mission to preserve the marine environment and history of the Lake Tahoe Basin. We hope you will consider supporting the cause. The cancellation of the 2020 show was a major setback for the Foundation’s mission as well as for the non-profits that benefit from it. All proceeds from the Virtual Lake Tahoe Concours d’Elegance including boat registrations and online donations will go directly back into the Lake Tahoe community and to maritime-related organizations in need.
