THE HISTORY
Earl Barnes designed and built Billie Bea II in the course of a year. In 1936, before delivery to its first owner Dr. Charlton and family, the boat named after the Dr.’s children made its debut at the Toronto Boat Show.
10-YEAR RESTORATION
Lance Wilson found Billie Bea II after years in storage and restored her to her present glory. The restoration was done over a ten-year period during the 1990s.
TODAY
The late Bill Jacobs of Illinois saw Billie Bea II at her first show after being restored and bought her on the spot. In 2003, we went to visit our Late friend Bill and decided on the spot that we must have her.
